AMMAN — The Ministry of Foreign Affairs on Friday condemned a “terrorist”plot targeting the United Arab Emirates, describing it as an attempt to infiltrate the brotherly country’s economy and destabilise its financial system.

 

The ministry said in a statement that the plot constituted an “unacceptable threat to the UAE’s security and stability.”

 

The ministry reaffirmed Jordan’s firm rejection and denunciation of the attempt, expressing “full solidarity” with the UAE and support for all measures it may take to safeguard its sovereignty, security, and stability.

 

The statement also underscored Jordan’s backing of efforts aimed at protecting the safety of citizens and residents in the UAE.

 

The ministry reiterated the Kingdom’s “categorical rejection of all forms of terrorism that seek to undermine security and stability across the region.”
