AMMAN — Royal Court Chief Yousef Issawi on Thursday attended a ceremony organised by Jadara University to mark His Majesty King Abdullah’s birthday, attended by political, parliamentary, academic and community figures, as well as a large number of students.
Chairman of Jadara University’s Board of Directors Shukri Marashdeh said that the occasion represents a message of loyalty to the homeland and its leader, and a renewal of allegiance to the Hashemite leadership and commitment to the values of Islam, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.
In his address, Marashdeh said that the celebration reflects Jordanians’ deep sense of belonging and pride in their national identity and wise Hashemite leadership.
He noted that the Kingdom’s continued security and stability, despite regional turmoil, stands as clear evidence of the leadership’s wisdom and the cohesion of the Jordanian people with their state and leadership.
He added that this reality would not have been possible without strong internal unity and the balanced approach pursued by the Hashemite leadership, stressing that the Hashemite family has embodied a legacy of wise leadership passed down through generations.
Marashdeh stressed that Jordanians, including the Jadara University community, will continue to stand behind their leadership, calling for building on national achievements and pressing ahead on the path of progress despite challenges.
On the sidelines of the event, Issawi inaugurated the Hashemites photo exhibition, organised by the Military Media Department in cooperation with the university.
