AMMAN — His Majesty King Abdullah, in a phone call on Sunday, exchanged Eid Al Fitr wishes with Egypt President Abdel Fattah Al Sisi.

 

The call touched on the dangers of Iran’s ongoing attacks on countries in the region, and the need to de-escalate the situation, according to a Royal Court statement.

 

The King warned against using the war as a pretext to restrict worshippers’ freedom of access to Al Aqsa Mosque, or to impact the situation in both the West Bank and Gaza, the statement said.
