AMMAN — The Jordan Armed Forces – Arab Army (JAF) said on Friday that Iran targeted the Kingdom with three missiles over the past 24 hours.

 

The Military Media Directorate of JAF said that the Royal Jordanian Air Force (RJAF) has successfully intercepted and destroyed two of the missiles.

 

A third missile was not intercepted and landed in eastern Jordan, the statement said.

 

The Public Security Directorate said that its units have responded to four incidents involving falling debris and projectiles during the same period.

 

No injuries were reported, but minor material damage occurred, it said.

 

JAF urged the public to avoid approaching or handling any suspicious objects or debris and to report any suspicious items to security services via the emergency number 911.
