AMMAN — Saudi Ambassador to Jordan Prince Mansour bin Khalid bin Farhan Al Saud on Wednesday handed over a gift of dates from the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, to Jordan. The contribution, provided through the King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Centre (KSrelief), was launched in the presence of Royal Hashemite Court Chief Yousef Issawi, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported. The gift comprises 125 tonnes of dates, which will be distributed across various Jordanian governorates. The initiative reflects the deep historical ties and strong fraternal relations between the leaderships and peoples of Saudi Arabia and Jordan. On the occasion, the Saudi Ambassador expressed his gratitude to King Salman and Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman for their humanitarian efforts and distinguished service to Islam and Muslims worldwide. Prince Mansour also commended KSrelief for its role in overseeing the implementation of such humanitarian programmes and initiatives.
