AMMAN — Ambassador Sufian Qudah on Saturday presented his credentials to Syrian President Ahmad Al Sharaa as Jordan’s Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador to Syria, in a ceremony held at the Presidential People’s Palace.
During the ceremony, Qudah conveyed the greetings of His Majesty King Abdullah to President Al Sharaa and expressed the King’s wishes for continued progress and prosperity for the Syrian people, according to a Foreign Ministry statement.
President Al Sharaa conveyed his greetings and appreciation to His Majesty, praising the King’s wise policies and the strong, distinguished relations between the two countries. He also reaffirmed the Syrian government’s commitment to strengthening and developing bilateral ties and wished the Kingdom of Jordan and its people continued growth and prosperity.
The ceremony was attended by Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates Asaad Al Shibani and Mohammad Al Ahmad, director of the Arab Affairs Department at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
