ASEZA members visit Ayla Oasis Company

AMMAN — Chairman of the Board of Commissioners of the Aqaba Special Economic Zone Authority (ASEZA) Shadi Majali and members of the board of commissioners on Wednesday visited Ayla Oasis Company in Aqaba, in an official visit aimed at reviewing the latest developments and achievements in the Ayla project.
 
CEO of Ayla Oasis Company Sahl Dudin and a number of managers in the company expressed their appreciation for this visit, which reflects ASEZA's keenness to follow up and support entrepreneurial and tourism projects in Aqaba, according to an ASEZA statement.
 
Members of the board of commissioners were briefed through a comprehensive presentation on the various phases of the project, for Ayla's vision in enhancing Aqaba's position as a "distinguished" tourism and investment destination.
 
During the visit, the delegates were also briefed on achievements in the infrastructure, tourism, sports and real estate sectors and various services provided by the project.
 
The ASEZA members conducted a field tour in the main facilities of the project, and checked on the latest tourism, sports and recreational facilities, which were established based on the "highest" international standards, and that contributes in promoting economic development in the region.
 
Majali stressed the joint efforts between the authority and Ayla to implement annual events and activities.
 
ASEZA officials stressed that the authority continues to support such "strategic" projects that contribute to diversifying the national economy and providing job opportunities for the local community.
 
Dudin expressed appreciation to the chairman and the commissioners for their visit, stressing Ayla's commitment to continuing to achieve “more successes” and enhancing the company’s role as a "strategic" partner in the development of the gulf city.
