The Jordan Times

AMMAN — Jordan’s airspace remains fully open and air traffic is operating normally, Jordan Civil Aviation Regulatory Commission (CARC) Chairman of the Board of Commissioners Captain Daifallah Farajat said on Thursday.

Al Farajat said that the Kingdom’s airspace has not been closed, highlighting the continued efficiency of operations and high level of readiness across all civil aviation facilities in the Kingdom.

He added that air traffic over Jordan, as well as flights operating through Queen Alia International Airport, is proceeding smoothly, with close coordination in place to address developments in the region.

Farajat also reaffirmed the commission’s commitment to protecting passengers’ rights and ensuring they receive the necessary assistance and solutions in case of disruptions.

He urged passengers affected by flight delays to contact their airlines directly to request alternative arrangements, stressing that this is “an established right guaranteed under the applicable regulations” published on the commission’s official website.

The CARC chief said the commission continues to closely monitor air traffic and regional developments in coordination with relevant authorities to ensure the highest standards of security and safety for civil aviation in the Kingdom.
