AMMAN — The Australian embassy in Jordan on Thursday expressed condolences over the death of Public Security Directorate (PSD) Corporal Jawad Salayteh, who was killed in a terrorist attack in the capital.

 

In a statement, the embassy extended its sympathies to the officer’s family, colleagues and the Jordanian people, and wished a speedy recovery to the security personnel injured in the incident.

 

Australia reaffirmed its solidarity with Jordan in combating terrorism and extremism, reiterating its condemnation of terrorism and violent extremism in all forms.
