AMMAN — Minister of Digital Economy and Entrepreneurship Sami Smeirat, in the presence of Indian Ambassador to Jordan Manish Chauhan, on Thursday inaugurated Zoho Corporation's first office in Jordan.
The company said that opening the office aimed to strengthen its presence in the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region and enhance local support for customers of Zoho and ManageEngine.
Smeirat said the opening of Zoho’s office reflects growing confidence in Jordan’s talent base and digital infrastructure, noting that it aligns with the National Digital Transformation Strategy 2026–2028 aimed at attracting high-value technology investment.
Zoho Middle East and Africa CEO Hyther Nizam said the expansion reflects the company’s long-term commitment to the region, which has become one of its fastest-growing markets globally, recording a 41 per cent compound annual growth rate over the past five years.
He said that the Amman office will serve as a regional base to support customers across Arabic-speaking markets, adding that Jordan was selected due to its skilled talent pool and strategic location.
Nizam said that Zoho currently serves around 2,500 customers in Jordan and has hired 30 employees for its local operations, including 24 for Zoho and six for ManageEngine, with nearly all recruited locally.
He added that Zoho continues to expand its offerings in Jordan, including Arabic-language support and electronic invoicing integration.
Founded nearly three decades ago, Zoho provides more than 60 cloud-based business applications covering customer relationship management, finance, human resources, collaboration, analytics and software development.
The company said it also supports 55-plus applications under its Zoho One suite and serves more than 150 million users globally.
ManageEngine Vice President for Revenue Operations Nirmal Manoharan said Jordan has become an important market for the company, which has enabled more than 500 businesses in the Kingdom to transform their IT operations in 2025, with annual growth of 30 per cent.
He said that the new office will enable faster and more direct support for enterprise customers in Jordan and the wider region, particularly in managing complex digital infrastructure.
Manoharan added that the company has partnered with Jordanian universities to support training and internship programmes aimed at building local digital skills.
Founded in 1996, Zoho Corporation is a privately-held global technology company, which has offices in more than 30 locations worldwide.
The company also owns and operates 20 data centres across the world, ensuring complete oversight of customer data, privacy and security.
