AMMAN —The Public Security Directorate (PSD) said on Thursday that emergency service personnel dealt with over 187 reports of incidents caused by falling objects and debris across most governorates of the Kingdom since last Saturday, with no new injuries recorded.

 

The Civil Defence Department (CDD) and police personnel inspected some 187 scenes of debris and falling objects since Saturday until 3:00pm on Thursday, Police Spokesperson Lt. Col. Amer Sartawi said.

 

Sartawi urged citizens to adhere to instructions issued by the PSD and relevant authorities and to contact the unified emergency number (911) in the event of any sightings.

 

The police official reiterated previous calls by the PSD to refrain from approaching any suspicious object under any circumstances due to the extreme danger it may pose to the public.
