OCCUPIED JERUSALEM — The Al Aqsa Mosque, Islam’s third holiest site, was reopened to Muslim worshippers on April 9, 2026, following a 40-day closure imposed by Israeli occupation authorities since the US-Israel war with Iran began on February 28.
