AMMAN — The Social Security Corporation (SSC) announced that the total number of its subscribers has reached 1,632,941, marking a 1.7 per cent increase compared with the same period in 2025.

 

The number of subscribers rose by 27,286 from 1,605,655 recorded during the corresponding period last year, according to the SSC.

 

The corporation told Al Mamlaka TV on Friday that the increase reflects the continued expansion of the Kingdom's social protection coverage through the inclusion of new categories of workers.

 

The SSC attributed the growth to ongoing efforts to improve compliance with social security regulations and raise awareness of the importance of registration.

 

It also said it has intensified inspection campaigns across its branch offices under a new field inspection methodology that targets specific sectors based on data provided by relevant public and private entities.

 

The corporation reaffirmed the importance of expanding its subscriber base to strengthen the sustainability of the social insurance system and extend social protection to all workers in the Kingdom.
