AMMAN — Jordan’s international search and rescue team dispatched by the Public Security Directorate/Civil Defence to Caracas continues undertaking its efforts within the disaster response to the earthquakes that struck Venezuela.
Since commencing operations two days ago, the team has managed to recover a number of bodies from under the rubble. The team recovered 11 bodies from two different locations in Caracas yesterday, including a collapsed 10-storey building.
The team, which includes internationally qualified specialised staff, is operating in coordination with the relevant authorities in Venezuela.
