The Jordan Times

AMMAN — The Central Bank of Jordan (CBJ) will issue on Wednesday the sixth tranche of Treasury bonds for this year on behalf of the government, with a total value of JD200 million.

According to data released by the bank and cited by Al Mamlaka, the bonds will mature on February 5, 2036, while the settlement date is set for February 5, 2026.

Treasury bonds are long-term financing instruments with maturities ranging from two to 20 years and include both government-issued bonds and corporate bonds.

Treasury bills, by contrast, are short-term government debt instruments issued for periods ranging from three to 12 months.

They are considered low-risk financial tools and are actively traded in financial markets.
