AMMAN — The Foreign Ministry on Thursday strongly condemned attempted attacks by Iran targeting Turkey and Azerbaijan.

 

In a statement, the ministry said that the Kingdom rejects and denounces the attacks, describing them as a “blatant” violation of the two countries’ sovereignty and a serious escalation that threatens regional security and stability.

 

The ministry also reiterated Jordan’s full solidarity with Turkey and Azerbaijan, affirming the Kingdom’s support for any measures they take to safeguard their sovereignty, security and the safety of their citizens.
