AMMAN — Ambassador Rolan Mahmoud Samara on Thursday presented credentials to Kenyan President William Ruto as the Kingdom's accredited and resident Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to Kenya, during a ceremony held at the Presidential Palace in Nairobi.
Samara conveyed His Majesty King Abdullah's greetings to President Ruto and his wishes for further progress and prosperity for the friendly Kenyan people, according to a Foreign Minister statement.
President Ruto, in turn, asked Samara to convey his greetings and appreciation to His Majesty King Abdullah, praising His Majesty's wise policies and the distinguished relations between the two friendly countries.
The president also expressed the Kenyan government's interest in strengthening and developing bilateral relations, wishing the Kingdom and the Jordanian people continued progress and prosperity.
The presentation of credentials ceremony was attended by the Undersecretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates, a number of its department directors, and other officials from the Presidential Palace.
