AMMAN — Presidents of Irbid Chamber of Industry Hani Abu Hassan and Daraa Chamber of Industry and Commerce Nashat Rifai signed a memorandum of understanding to boost industrial, commercial, and investment cooperation.

 

The agreement aims to encourage collaboration among businessmen and members of both chambers, exchange information on economic events, industrial and investment sectors, and commercial regulations, as well as jointly organise economic forums, exchange visits, and develop networking opportunities to showcase available investment and trade prospects, according to the Jordan News Agency, Petra.

 

Abu Hassan described the memorandum as an important step towards expanding industrial and commercial ties and opening wider opportunities for businessmen in both countries, boosting economic activity and enhancing the competitiveness of national products.

 

He affirmed the chamber’s commitment to continuing efforts to enhance regional partnerships that support the industrial sector and national economy.

 

Rifai said that the agreement represents a practical step to activate economic relations, open new avenues for industrial and economic exchange, and build genuine partnerships among businessmen, contributing to the growth of both economies.

 

Both sides agreed to follow up on the memorandum’s implementation through continuous communication channels and joint working groups to study available opportunities, ensuring the achievement of its objectives and the enhancement of cooperation.
