Yesterday, we marked the eighth anniversary of the passing of Karam Imseeh, a visionary Palestinian-Jordanian entrepreneur whose legacy continues to profoundly impact every life he touched and every community he walked through.

 

As the founder of the Imseeh Group, he built a business that sustained his family and imparted valuable lessons for future generations.

 

Born in al-Lidd, Palestine, in 1938, Imseeh's life was forever changed by displacement. Yet, he refused to be defined by his tough circumstances.

 

Driven by unwavering determination, he acquired skills and trades that became the foundation of his successful business.

 

His journey was marked by perseverance and unshakeable work ethics, as he worked multiple jobs, from selling pastries to construction materials, to provide for his family and build a brighter future.

 

Karam's entry into the gold industry was characterized by a fierce belief in himself to succeed. He honed his skills and became a master craftsman.

 

His son, Osama, vividly remembers his father's marathon work sessions, often spanning 18 hours daily, as he meticulously crafted gold with love and care.

 

Beyond his business acumen, Karam's impact on his family was profound. As a devoted father and husband, he instilled values of hard work, integrity, and compassion, leaving a lasting legacy.

 

One of the key characteristics that defined Karam's personality was his commitment to upholding justice in all aspects of his life. He was known for treating his friends, colleagues, and business associates with fairness and integrity. In fact, he became a point of reference for merchants who would seek his arbitration in times of disputes, valuing his wise and impartial judgment.
