Prime minister reviews consular reforms, regional developments during Foreign Ministry visit

AMMAN — Prime Minister Jafar Hassan on Tuesday visited the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates, where he held talks with Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ayman Safadi, focused on regional developments and ministry priorities.
During the meeting, Safadi briefed Hassan on the latest political and security developments in the region, as well as ongoing diplomatic efforts, according to the Jordan News Agency, Petra.
Hassan stressed the importance of the development programmes launched by the ministry to enhance consular services for Jordanians abroad and strengthen the economic role of Jordan's diplomatic missions.
He emphasised the need for sustained coordination between the Foreign Ministry and economic ministries to maximise the effectiveness of diplomatic missions in promoting investment, tourism and exports.
The prime minister also reaffirmed government support for the automation and modernisation of consular services, aimed at improving efficiency and service delivery for Jordanians overseas.
