AMMAN —The Jordanian Campaign, in cooperation with the Jordan Hashemite Charity Organisation (JHCO), on Wednesday distributed 1,600 winter clothing parcels for children to affected families across the Gaza Strip.

 

The initiative, delivered in areas stretching from northern to southern Gaza, forms part of the campaign’s ongoing winter-relief efforts aimed at supporting displaced households as temperatures continue to drop.

 

The parcels included essential winter garments tailored for different age groups, and were distributed through an organised mechanism prioritising families most impacted by the current conditions, according to a JHCO statement.

 

Abdulrahman Awad, the campaign’s general coordinator, said the continuation of winter initiatives reflects a commitment to protecting vulnerable groups.

 

“We remain dedicated to field work and to providing what is needed for the people in Gaza, especially children who are enduring harsh conditions during these times,” he said.

 

The campaign continues to implement a range of relief interventions inside the Strip, including food assistance, clothing support and medical aid, as part of an integrated humanitarian response to the ongoing crisis.
