AMMAN — The Jordan Armed Forces- Arab Army (JAF) on Monday evacuated the 19th group of sick children from the Gaza Strip, including 20 patients and 46 companions.

 

The evacuation was part of the Jordanian Medical Corridor initiative launched under Royal directives in support of the Palestinian people in Gaza, according to a JAF statement.

 

The evacuated children will receive medical treatment at Jordanian hospitals, in coordination with the Ministry of Health and the World Health Organization, as part of Jordan’s ongoing medical and humanitarian efforts to provide healthcare and medical support to Palestinians in the Gaza Strip.

 

The same group also included 30 patients and 66 companions who will receive treatment at the King Hussein Cancer Center, with support from the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, the statement said.
