AMMAN —HRH Crown Prince Hussein launched on Tuesday the inaugural edition of FutrForum 2025 in Amman.

Organised by the National Council for Future Technology (NCFT), in cooperation with the World Economic Forum (WEF), the two-day forum aims to consolidate efforts to promote the use of technology in key sectors that serve citizens and foster economic growth, according to a Royal Court statement.

The forum brings together representatives of leading global technology companies alongside nearly 100 experts and professionals from the information technology sector, the statement said.

FutrForum 2025 focuses on empowering Jordanian talent to generate innovative solutions, catalysing partnerships to advance Jordan’s digital economy, and strengthening connections with Jordanian expatriates serving in leadership roles at global technology firms, with the aim of ensuring a unified effort toward pioneering projects that benefit the national economy, according to the statement.

The World Economic Forum will facilitate foresight workshops during the event, designed to generate actionable initiatives and projects.

The foresight workshops will address key priority areas identified by the NCFT, including artificial intelligence and emerging technologies, digital health, smart living, sustainability and green technology, transforming education, and the future of work.

This first-of-its-kind forum in Jordan reflects His Royal Highness’ vision to elevate Jordan’s standing in the technology sector regionally and globally, while harnessing technology to serve citizens and enhance public services. It underscores a focus on practical applications and implementable projects, particularly in the fields of education, health, government services, data management, and skills development, the statement said.

Prime Minister Jafar Hassan and a number of officials attended the FutrForum 2025 launch.
