AMMAN — The Information and Communications Technology Association of Jordan (int@j), in partnership with the Ministry of Digital Economy and Entrepreneurship and the German Agency for International Cooperation (GIZ), organised Jordanian pavilion at the "Biban 2025" forum, held at Riyadh
According to an int@j statement on Thursday, ten Jordanian startups participated in the pavilion, representing leading entrepreneurial projects in technology, innovation, and digital services.
Jordan’s Ambassador to Saudi Arabia, Haitham Abu Al foul, inaugurated the pavilion, emphasising the importance of Jordan’s participation in this global event, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.
He praised the progress and competence of Jordanian companies in offering innovative tech solutions that keep pace with global digital transformation.
The Ministry of Digital Economy said the participation in Biban 2025 is part of national efforts to strengthen the presence of Jordanian startups in regional and international markets, and to promote Jordanian digital innovations that reflect advanced entrepreneurship and technology system.
The ministry noted that this participation highlights an active public-private sector partnership and underscores Jordan’s commitment to implementing the Economic Modernization Vision (EMV) by supporting entrepreneurs and enabling startups to expand internationally.
Int@j CEO Nidal Bitar, said the participation reflects the association’s continuous efforts to empower Jordanian entrepreneurs and open new markets for them, stressing int@j’s commitment to building an "integrated" entrepreneurial system that reinforces Jordan’s position as a regional hub for digital innovation and entrepreneurship.
Marzban Cooper, Component Manager of the "Entrepreneurship for Sustainable Economic Development and Employment" project implemented by GIZ–Jordan, said the Jordanian startups demonstrated their entrepreneurial capabilities at Biban 2025, seizing the opportunity to present their innovative solutions and expand their business internationally.
The Biban Forum, organised by Saudi Arabia’s Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) General Authority (Monshaat) under the theme "A Global Destination for Opportunities," is one of the region’s leading entrepreneurship events, bringing together top companies, investors and experts to exchange experiences and explore emerging trends in this field.
