AMMAN — The Amman Stock Exchange (ASE) on Tuesday participated in the activities of the Eighth International Scientific Conference, "Business Intelligence, Digital Transformation and Innovation in the Age of Artificial Intelligence (BIDTI-AI 2026)".
The conference is organised by the School of Business at Amman Arab University in partnership with the College of Administration and Economics at Dijlah Private University, according to a statement by ASE.
The event was attended by a group of academics, researchers, decision makers and experts from various economic and professional sectors from within and outside the Kingdom.
CEO of ASE Mazen Wathaifi, participated in the opening panel discussion entitled "Artificial Intelligence and the Future of Business", which addressed the rapid transformations being brought about by artificial intelligence in contemporary business environments, and its impact on the development of business models, decision-making, the financial sector, governance and entrepreneurship.
During the session, he outlined the ASE’s experience in the field of digital transformation, and highlighted the developments witnessed in the national capital market, alongside the most significant projects and initiatives implemented by the ASE in this field.
These initiatives align with the Economic Modernisation Vision (EMV) and aim to develop the national capital market and enhance its efficiency and competitiveness, keeping pace with rapid technological developments and supporting the transition towards a more innovative and sustainable digital economy.
