AMMAN — His Majesty King Abdullah on Sunday received the Integrity and Anti-Corruption Commission’s (IACC) report for 2025.
During a meeting with IACC Chairman Hazem Majali, His Majesty emphasised the need to continue building citizens’ trust in national institutions, according to a Royal Court statement.
The King highlighted the importance of the IACC’s role in fostering an environment conducive to investment by strengthening the integrity framework across all institutions.
According to the IACC report, the commission recovered, contributed to recovering, or prevented the waste of public funds amounting to around JD79 million in 2025. Additionally, it examined and referred 298 investigation files to the public prosecution.
The IACC also launched the National Integrity and Anti-Corruption Strategy for 2026-2030.
Royal Hashemite Court Chief Yousef Issawi and Director of the Office of His Majesty Alaa Batayneh attended the meeting.
