AMMAN — The Jordanian Campaign, in partnership with the Jordan Hashemite Charity organisation (JHCO), has distributed thousands of hot meals across the Gaza Strip in a humanitarian initiative held in memory of the martyrs of the terrorist attack in Karak, reaffirming Jordan's solidarity with the Palestinian people.
The campaign covered areas in northern and southern war-torn Gaza, prioritising displacement camps and vulnerable communities facing severe humanitarian conditions, according to a statement.
Particular attention was given to families living in high-risk areas near the Yellow Line in northern Gaza, including Jabalia, Al Faluja and Al Safi, where residents continue to endure extremely difficult living conditions.
The initiative also highlighted the longstanding ties between Jordan and Palestine, with several Gaza residents expressing solidarity with Jordan amid recent developments. They voiced their appreciation for the Kingdom's positions and its continued support for the Palestinian people.
The campaign, carried out in partnership with JHCO, forms part of Jordan's ongoing humanitarian assistance to Gaza and reflects the Kingdom's commitment to standing alongside the people of the Strip, the statement said.
