AMMAN — Three missiles launched from Iran landed in several locations across Jordan early on Sunday, causing only minor property damage and no casualties, according to a military source from the Jordan Armed Forces - Arab Army (JAF).
In a statement, the military source at JAF said that Royal Engineering Corps teams were immediately dispatched to the impact sites, where they secured the areas and safely handled the missile debris in accordance with established technical procedures.
Relevant authorities were continuing to monitor the situation on the ground, the statement said.
The source stressed that Jordan will not allow its airspace or territory to be used as a theater of conflict in a manner that threatens the Kingdom's security and stability.
The armed forces, the source added, will respond decisively to any threat against Jordan's sovereignty, territorial integrity, or the safety of its citizens, emphasising that all military formations and units remain at the highest level of readiness to address any potential threat.
