French police started removing dozens of pro-Palestinian activists from the prestigious Institute of Political Sciences in Paris on Friday, following demonstrations that began on Thursday.

About 50 students were still present when law enforcement entered the building. These protests arose amidst student movements worldwide in response to the aggression in Gaza, reminiscent of those at US universities.

The French government affirmed its firm approach to dealing with the student protests at the Institute of Political Sciences, marking its first official statement since police intervention. Additionally, police entered the main building of Sciences Po University in central Paris, where students were staging a sit-in against the Gaza war.

A student reported that police were intensifying their presence around the protesters. Meanwhile, in the US, at least 30 universities saw solidarity protests for Gaza, urging an end to the seven-month-long aggression.

Similarly, in Mexico, students and activists supporting Gaza erected tents outside the National Autonomous University, the country's largest, to express their opposition to Gaza's ongoing aggression and solidarity with US student protesters.

They displayed Palestinian flags and chanted slogans such as "Long live free Palestine" and "From the river to the sea." Their demands included severing diplomatic and trade ties with Israeli Occupation.
