The United Arab Emirates (UAE) has suspended coordination of humanitarian aid with the Israeli Occupation after the death of seven aid workers affiliated with the charity organization World Central Kitchen (WCK) in an “Israeli” airstrike that targeted their vehicle in the Gaza Strip - according to Hebrew news website “i24NEWS”.

 

The Emirati foreign ministry has “expressed outrage” with the Israeli ambassador to the UAE Amir Hayek over the tragic incident.

 

Israel Katz, the Israeli Occupation’s Foreign Minister, engaged in a phone call with his Emirati counterpart, Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, to address the worsening diplomatic situation.

 

Additionally, Director General of the “Israeli” Foreign Ministry, Yaakov Blitshtein, met with the UAE’s ambassador to “Israel”, Mohammed Mahmoud Al-Khaja in an attempt to resolve the issue.

 

The Emirati ambassador Al-Khaja described the current state of affairs as “the darkest day in the relations between the countries” - according to i24NEWS.
