For the month of July, transport led the inflation contribution with 1.08 percentage points, followed by rents at 0.76 percentage points, and oils and fats at 0.29 percentage points.

Price decreases in key food items helped mitigate overall inflation during July.

The CPI calculation is based on a consumer basket comprising 850 items, including 325 food items and 525 non-food items, with prices collected from a survey sample of 3,400 commercial establishments.
