23 Jordanian food firms to showcase products at 'Fancy Food Show 2026' in US

AMMAN — Twenty-three Jordanian food companies will take part from Sunday in the summer edition of the "Fancy Food Show 2026" in the United States, a three-day trade event aimed at expanding the reach of local products in global markets.

Chairman of the Jordan Exporters Association (JEA), Ahmad Khudari, said the association organised the Jordanian pavilion, noting that the US market represents a strategic destination for national exports, driven by strong consumer demand, high purchasing power, and the preferential terms offered under the Jordan–US Free Trade Agreement (FTA).

In a statement issued on Saturday, Khudari said Jordan produces high-quality food and industrial goods that are competitive on global markets.

Chairman stressed the importance of "sustained" efforts to maximise the benefits of the FTA, increase the presence of Jordanian companies at international trade fairs, and build long-term partnerships with US importers and distribution networks, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.

He added that boosting Jordanian exports to the US is a "key" pillar of the national economy, as it helps increase foreign currency inflows, improve the trade balance, attract investment, expand production capacity and create additional jobs for Jordanians.

Khudari noted that export performance in recent years demonstrates that investment in international promotion and the development of global trade links yields tangible, long-term economic returns, in line with efforts to position Jordan as a "reliable" exporter of quality goods.

JEA Director General Halim Abu Rahmeh said the participation forms part of ongoing efforts to open new export opportunities for national companies in one of the world’s largest consumer markets.

Marking Jordan’s 17th participation in the exhibition, Abu Rahmeh said the event reflects the JEA’s long-term strategy to promote national exports sustainably and strengthen trade relations with global distributors.

He added that Jordan’s food industry has proven its competitiveness in international markets through adherence to high safety and quality standards, as well as product diversification, making the US a "promising" market for further expansion, Petra reported.
