German Foreign Minister Annalena Baerbock that “Israel has no more excuses” to delay aid getting into the Gaza Strip, after the “Israeli” security cabinet approved the opening of two crossings to increase the flow of humanitarian aid into the Strip.

"The people in Gaza need every aid package now... We expect the Israeli government to implement its announcements quickly," Baerbock said on her “X” platform on Friday.

"No more excuses."

On Thursday, the Israeli Occupation security cabinet has approved the reopening of Erez Border Crossing with north Gaza for the first time after it was shutdown on Oct. 7, 2023 - according to CNN citing an "Israeli" official.

The crossing would be opened to allow more humanitarian aid to enter The Gaza Strip, the official says.

Additionally, The cabinet approved using the Port of Ashdod to ramp up transfer of aid to the besieged Strip.

The decision comes after pressure by US President Joe Biden on “Israel” to manage and fix the humanitarian situation in Gaza. Yesterday, Thursday, Biden and the “Israeli” Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu had a phone call that was described as “tense and challenging” in which Biden said that the continuation of US support for “Israel” will depend on their measures to protect civilians in the Gaza Strip.
