AMMAN — His Majesty King Abdullah, during a phone call with Italy Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni on Sunday, discussed the dangerous escalation in the region.

 

His Majesty reaffirmed Jordan’s rejection of the attacks on its territory and a number of Arab countries, emphasising the need to utilise dialogue as a means of resolving crises, according to a Royal Court statement.

 

For her part, the Italian prime minister condemned the Iranian attacks, affirming her country’s commitment to working with Jordan and partners to achieve regional calm.
