AMMAN — The Jordan Armed Forces–Arab Army (JAF) on Monday evacuated the 21st batch of sick children from the Gaza Strip, comprising 21 patients and 36 accompanying family members, as part of the “Jordanian Medical Corridor” initiative launched under Royal directives.
The evacuated children will receive medical treatment at Jordanian hospitals as part of the Kingdom’s ongoing medical and humanitarian efforts to provide healthcare and medical support to Palestinians in Gaza, according to a JAF statement.
The evacuation of sick children from Gaza, which began in March 2025, is being carried out in cooperation with the World Health Organization.
With the latest batch, the total number of patients evacuated from Gaza for treatment in Jordan and other countries via the Kingdom has reached 539, along with 1,422 accompanying family members.
