The famous Lebanese producer and director Simon Asmar has died on Thursday at age 76 after struggling with illness.

 

Media reports said Asmar has long suffered from kidney disease which he challenged after every setback.

 

Simon Asmar is considered one of the most prominent figures who discovered a number of celebrities through his famous program Studio al-Fan (art studio) which drew the beginning for various renowned singers in Lebanon.
