A “low-pressure system” accompanied by a relatively cold air mass towards the region, set to affect Jordan on Monday - per ArabiaWeather’s forecasts.

 

Indirect effects of the low-pressure system begin on Sunday, with further drops in temperatures expected. The weather will be mild during the day in most areas, turning cooler in high mountainous regions, with scattered clouds and a chance of light local showers, especially in the north of Jordan.

 

Moderate northwesterly winds are expected, gradually strengthening with gusts during the afternoon and evening, stirring up dust and sand in exposed and desert areas.

 

Warnings were issued regarding potential stirred-up dust and reduced horizontal visibility on desert roads during the afternoon and evening - ArabiaWeather recommends wearing warm clothes and a coat during the night and morning hours.
