Reports say that “Israel” targeted Iran’s consulate and the ambassador’s residence - according to Reuters citing Iranian news website SSN.

 

Hebrew media reported the assassination of a senior Iranian official at the Iranian consulate in Damascus - Mohammad Reza Zahedi, a commander in the Quds Force in Syria and Lebanon, Iranian news outlet confirmed the death.

 

The Syrian Foreign Minister has condemned the “Israeli” attack on Iran consulate in Damascus.

 

The Syrian defense ministry said that many are wounded and killed in the airstrike.
