AMMAN — The Northern Military Region command on Wednesday thwarted an infiltration attempt by two individuals who tried to cross the border illegally. 

 

Border Guard units detected the individuals and applied the rules of engagement, arresting them before they could cross the border.

 

They referred them to the competent authorities for legal action, according to Jordan Armed Forces–Arab Army (JAF).

 

JAF reiterated that Border Guard units remain vigilant and steadfast in protecting the Kingdom’s borders, safeguarding its sovereignty, and countering any infiltration attempts or illegal activities that threaten national security.
