The Israeli Occupation military said on Saturday that they had retrieved the body of a captive overnight from Khan Yunis in the southern Gaza Strip, suggesting he had died while in custody.

 

The army's statement mentioned that Elad Katzir, 47, had been apprehended from Kibbutz Nir Oz during the seventh offensive and was purportedly killed while being detained.

 

Reportedly, the captive's body was formally identified and brought back to Tel Aviv, according to the Israeli Occupation military's claims.

 

Katzir's sister, as per AFP, criticized Tel Aviv officials, suggesting that reaching a ceasefire agreement with Hamas could have ensured her brother's safe return.
