AMMAN — The Jordanian pavilion, organised by the Ministry of Tourism and Antiquities and the Jordan Tourism Board (JTB), has won the “Best Pavilion Design in the Middle East” award at the World Travel Market (WTM) 2025.
According to a JTB statement on Thursday, cited by the Jordan News Agency, Petra, Minister of Tourism and Antiquities Imad Hijazin praised the recognition, noting that the award highlights the distinctiveness of Jordan’s tourism offerings in the eyes of exhibition visitors.
The pavilion, he said, reflects the Kingdom’s rich cultural and historical heritage.
The Jordanian pavilion captivated visitors with its design inspired by the Jerash Gate, incorporating authentic Jordanian cultural elements.
It offered a unique visual and interactive experience showcasing the Kingdom’s most famous tourist destinations, including Petra, Wadi Rum, the Dead Sea, and Aqaba.
Now in its 35th edition, WTM brings together over 4,000 exhibitors from more than 180 countries and attracts around 45,000 tourism and travel professionals worldwide.
The event serves as a global platform to promote tourist destinations and strengthen collaboration among ministries, tourism boards, clients, and travel agencies, Petra added.
