US President Donald Trump will meet Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman to discuss trade, defense, and technology cooperation.

Talks will include AI, security, and nuclear energy collaboration.

The meeting follows Saudi Arabia’s USD 600 billion trade and investment pledge to the US from May.

Experts expect increased two-way investment opportunities aligned with Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2030 reforms.

US President Donald Trump is scheduled to meet with Saudi Arabia’s Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman on Tuesday, with discussions expected to focus on strengthening ties in defense, trade, technology, and other strategic sectors. Key topics will include collaboration in artificial intelligence, security, and nuclear energy.

The visit follows Trump’s trip to Saudi Arabia in May, during which the kingdom pledged USD 600 billion in trade and investment commitments to the United States. Analysts say Trump is likely to aim at solidifying those promises during this week’s meetings.

“The United States wants Saudi Arabia to purchase more of its goods and services and increase investments in U.S. companies, and Saudi Arabia is seeking greater access to US tech and innovation to support its ambitious Vision 2030 reforms,” said Tim Callen, visiting fellow at the Arab Gulf States Institute, ahead of the discussions.

The US-Saudi Investment Forum, scheduled for November 19, will provide a platform to finalize additional economic agreements between the two nations. Callen noted that Saudi Arabia is seeking a two-way approach to investment with Washington.

“There is little doubt that Saudi investments and purchases of US products will increase. However, it may be that US investments into Saudi Arabia see the strongest growth in the coming years given the improved investment climate in the kingdom,” Callen said, highlighting opportunities from Vision 2030, reliable low-cost energy, and available land to support the expansion of AI and related activities of US technology companies.

The talks are expected to reinforce the strategic partnership between the U.S. and Saudi Arabia, with both sides seeking to balance economic growth, technological innovation, and regional security interests.
