‘Israeli’ army claims the men were involved in smuggling weapons used by Hezbollah.
‘Israeli’ army announced Saturday that it carried out a strike in the southern Lebanese village of Shebaa, killing two members of what it called the “Lebanese Brigades,” a group it claims operates under Hezbollah’s supervision.
In a statement, the army said the attack was conducted by its 210th Division with support from the ‘Israeli’ Air Force.
It accused the two men of being involved in smuggling weapons used by Hezbollah, describing their actions as a “blatant violation of understandings” between 'Israel' and Lebanon.
The statement concluded that the ‘Israeli’ army “will continue working to remove any threat” against it.
