AMMAN — The Jordanian Campaign in Gaza, in coordination with the Jordan Hashemite Charity Organisation (JHCO), has distributed one tonne of sugar to hundreds of displaced families across various parts of the war-torn Strip, as part of ongoing relief efforts amid the Israeli offensive.
The initiative is part of a broader humanitarian response launched by the campaign since the start of the war aimed at addressing urgent needs and easing the suffering of Palestinians facing severe food shortage, according to Al Mamlaka TV.
Field teams involved in the distribution confirmed that the aid was delivered to shelters and communities experiencing some of the harshest living conditions.
Priority was given to areas most severely affected by the war, they said.
The campaign is part of a series of efforts to counter the deteriorating humanitarian situation caused by the war and blockade.
