AMMAN — Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Ayman Safadi on Sunday discussed with Pakistan’s Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar ongoing efforts to reach a US-Iran agreement, building on the current ceasefire, to achieve a comprehensive settlement that restores calm, security, and stability in the region.
During a phone call, Safadi commended Pakistan’s efforts to de-escalate tensions and address their regional and international repercussions, according to a Foreign Ministry statement.
The two ministers also discussed ways to further strengthen bilateral relations and enhance cooperation between the two countries.
They also reiterated their commitment to expanding collaboration across various sectors and to maintaining close coordination and consultation on issues of mutual regional and international interest.
