A significant Jordanian aid convoy comprising 105 trucks carrying humanitarian assistance has reached the Gaza Strip via the Kerem Shalom crossing, coinciding with Eid al-Fitr, as per a statement from the Jordanian Hashemite Charity Organization.

 

The statement said that the aid will be distributed among the residents as part of ongoing humanitarian endeavors aimed at aiding Palestinians in Gaza. The shipments include food supplies, which will be distributed through partner associations affiliated with international and local organizations operating in the region.

 

Dr. Hussein Al-Shibli, the Secretary-General of the Jordanian Hashemite Charity Organization, emphasized that this initiative underscores Jordan's continued commitment to supporting Palestinians during times of crisis. He highlighted the organization's close collaboration with UN agencies and international entities to ensure the effective delivery of aid to the most vulnerable in Gaza.

 

Al-Shibli reaffirmed the organization's dedication to extending assistance to Gaza residents, pledging ongoing efforts to alleviate their hardships amid challenging circumstances. He underscored the significance of international collaboration and sustained backing for the Palestinian cause.
