The Gaza Humanitarian Foundation (GHF) on Sunday denied reports that 'Israeli' forces targeted a food distribution point near Rafah, according to the Jeruselem post.
In a statement, the GHF said aid operations proceeded without incident, and no injuries or fatalities were reported. “All aid was distributed today without incident. No injuries or fatalities,” the organization stated, adding that security footage from the site showed normal civilian activity throughout the day.
The GHF accused Hamas of spreading “false and fabricated” claims about an alleged 'Israeli' attack that some media reports said killed at least 31 people.
The 'Israeli' military also commented on the reports, stating it was unaware of any injuries caused by military fire within the designated humanitarian zone. The IDF said the matter was under review.
Earlier today, an 'Israeli' attack near an aid distribution point run by a private US-based group killed at least 31 people in Gaza, according to local health authorities.
The incident occurred in Rafah, southern Gaza, and marked the latest in a series of deadly episodes that have further complicated aid delivery efforts across the enclave.
