Safadi skeptical of Israeli Occupation aid pledge to Gaza: 'We've heard such promises before'

Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates, Ayman Al-Safadi, asserted that Israeli Occupation must be held accountable for the ongoing massacre it has perpetrated against Palestinians in the Gaza Strip for 183 days.

Speaking in a BBC interview Saturday, he emphasized that the Israeli Occupation government, led by Benjamin Netanyahu and influenced by extremist settlers, should not be allowed to prolong the cycle of death and suffering in the region.

Responding to Israeli Occupation's announcement of increased aid to Gaza through Jordan, Safadi expressed skepticism, stating, "We have heard such pledges before, but their implementation remains uncertain until observed on the ground. We will wait to see if Israel follows through by facilitating the entry of more aid into Gaza."

During the interview, Safadi addressed the ongoing situation in the Gaza Strip, focusing on efforts to secure a ceasefire, protect civilians, and ensure the delivery of sufficient and sustainable humanitarian aid across all parts of the territory.

Meanwhile, the Israeli Occupation Forces continued their airstrikes targeting Gaza civilians, resulting in further casualties on the 183rd day of the brutal aggression.

The toll of this relentless aggression has reached staggering numbers, with 33,091 Palestinians martyred and 75,750 injured since October 7, as reported by the Palestinian Ministry of Health in Gaza.
