The Israeli Occupation Forces (IOF) announced Saturday that citizens can now exit shelters nationwide, though they are advised to stay close by as a precaution, following a new barrage of missile attacks launched from Iran.
In a statement, the military’s Home Front Command said, “It is now permitted to leave protected spaces in all areas across the country and to remain near them.”
This guidance comes in the wake of a renewed wave of missile strikes from Iran, which the IOF says included dozens of projectiles. The IOF confirmed that air defenses intercepted some of the missiles, but others may have reached 'Israeli' territory.
“Some of the missiles were intercepted. Search and rescue forces are currently operating in a number of locations across the country in which reports of fallen projectiles were received,” the military said in a separate statement.
