Kingdom's real estate trading grows 4% since beginning of year

AMMAN — The volume of real estate trading in Jordan during the first eleven months of this year reached JD6.4 billion, recording an increase of 4 per cent compared to the same period last year.
 
The report of the Department of Land and Survey indicated that the volume of trading in real estate market during last November increased by 24 per cent compared with the same month last year, and by less than 1 per cent compared with the previous October, to reach JD636 million.
 
The value of revenues since the beginning of this year increased by 4 per cent compared to the same period last year, to record JD247 million, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.
 
While revenues last November recorded an increase of 6 per cent compared with the same period last year, while they decreased by 9 per cent compared with the previous October, to record JD22.5 million.
 
During the first eleven months of this year, real estate sales in Jordan increased by 1 per cent, with sales of apartments and land up 1 per cent each compared with the same period last year.
 
Real estate sales in Jordan increased by 4 per cent in November compared to the same month last year, while it decreased by 8 per cent compared with the previous October.
